Monster Encyclopedia #2
Hi guys! This page has a list of monsters that is commonly talk about in training spots. For instance:
1) What monster should I train on for my job (e.g. warrior-crusader) at level (e.g. level 90) ?
2) Where to train for that particular monster ? (small map, less walking distance, good spawn rate)
3) Which monster gives the best drop/meso ? (farming meso)
4) Which monster to train on that does not cost me to spam pots ? (normal training)
5) Which monster is best to earn Exp ? I don’t mind about spamming pots (power-leveling)
Below is a list of monsters categorised by their level, each has their own details that answers one or more of the following questions mentioned above. This monster encyclopedia (part 2) covers monster from level 31 to level 60. This page is useful for 2nd job advancement.
Monster Level 31 – 40:
Ligator, Fire Boar, Ratz, Pink Teddy:
Ligator : 1200 Hp, 60 Exp, 76-114 Meso | Fire Boar : 1000 Hp, 60 Exp, 76-114 Meso
Ratz : 1000 Hp, 65 Exp, 80-120 Meso | Pink Teddy : 1050 Hp, 65 Exp, 80-120 Meso
All the monsters above provide decent meso and good Exp (for Lv 35-45 players).
Ludibrium monster (Ratz, Pink Teddy) seems to drop more meso compare to Victoria monsters (Fire Boar, Ligator), however, Victoria monster has less weapon and magic defense. So both compensates one another. Fire Boar is popular couple with Copper Drake in this map (Hidden Street: Dangerous Valley I). Ligator is weak to fire attack, so Fire Wizard has an advantage over them.
- Warning Street: The Swamp of Despair I, II (Ligator)
- Warning Street: The Burnt Land I, II, III, IV (Fire Boar)
- Hidden Street: Dangerous Valley I (Copper Drake + Fire Boar)
- Ludibrium: Eos Tower 1, 99, 100 Floor (Ratz)
- Ludibrium: Terrace Hall / Sky Terrace 1 (Pink Teddy)
Leatty, Dark Leatty:
Leatty : 1000 Hp, 60 Exp, 68-102 Meso | Dark Leatty : 1100 Hp, 65 Exp, 72-108 Meso
Leatty is weak against Fire, while Dark Leatty is weak against holy attack (not heal). They are alternative targets when Jr Cellion/Lioner/Grupin maps are crowded during the holiday/weekend. Range characters should have a fun time attacking floating leatty from afar without getting bumped. Both provide good Exp (for Lv 35-45 players)
- Orbis: Orbis Tower 3, 4 floor (Dark Leatty)
- Orbis: Orbis Tower 6, 7 floor (Leatty)
Jr Cellion, Jr Lioner, Jr Grupin:
All Kittens / Kitty / SmallCat : 1100 Hp, 65 Exp, 80-120 Meso
They are known as kittens (junior of the big cats). They provide decent meso and good Exp (for Lv 35-45) players. Kittens drop “Solid Horns” which are commonly bought by high level players to support their newbie via Orbis Exchange Quest. Similar to Sentinel characteristics, Jr Cellion and Jr Lioner is weak to Ice while Jr Grupin is weak to Fire magic attack. (great targets for magician to train on). Other class can be seen training on them too, as they provide secondary Exp income through Orbis Exchange Quest or they can sell their solid horns for additional meso income (farming meso!)
- Orbis: The Road to Garden of 3 Colors (Mix kittens)
- Orbis: Garden of Red I (Jr Cellion)
- Orbis: Garden of Yellow I (Jr Lioner)
- Orbis: Garden of Green I (Jr Grupin)
Jr Wraith, Jr Pepe, Bloctopus, Star Pixie
Jr Wraith : 1200 Hp, 70 Exp, 56-84 Meso | Star Pixie : 1300 Hp, 72 Exp, 56-84 Meso
Jr Pepe : 1400 Hp, 75 Exp, 76-114 Meso | Bloctopus : 1300 Hp, 72 Exp, 76-114 Meso
Jr Wraith and Star Pixies drops less meso compare to Jr Pepe and Bloctopus, so most players would train on Jr Pepe and Bloctopus unless its crowded. Jr Pepe is weak against Fire (Fire Wizard love Penguins – Ice Monsters) while Jr Wraith is weak against holy (Cleric can heal them!) Bloctopus is popular among Warrior where they could jump into crowded mob and clear them. Bloctopus is a good couple with King Bloctopus in Eos Tower. Bloctopus has amazing drops, meso and Exp. All 4 monsters above are popular among players Level 41-45.
- Orbis: Cloud Park I (Star Pixie)
- Orbis: Orbis Tower 1st floor (Jr Pepe)
- Subway Line 1 Area 2 (Jr Wraith) / Subway Line 2 Area 1 (Jr Wraith + Jr Necki)
- Ludibrium: Eos Tower 22, 23 Floor (Bloctopus + King Bloctopus)
- Ludibrium: Eos Tower 9, 10 Floor (Bloctopus + Block Golem)
Zombie Lupin, Cold Eye:
Zombie Lupin : 1800 Hp, 90 Exp, 104-156 Meso | Cold Eye : 2000 Hp, 85 Exp, 96-144 Meso
Both of these monster provide amazing meso drop (farming meso!) and decent Exp for level 40-50) Zombie Lupin is popular among Cleric (zombie can be healed) while Cold Eye (ice monster) is weak against fire element attacks. Cold Eye can be found in mobs deep within Sleepywood dungeon. Zombie Lupin can be found in mobs within Tree Dungeons. Zombie Lupin’s cursed dolls can be sold to players who needs them for quest (the quest needs at least 1,000 dollls) So this means, clerics makes tons of Meso here! Also, cleric can use them for quest to get additional Exp.
- Hidden Street: Monkey Forest I
- Hidden Street: Tree Dungeon, Monkey Forest I (Zombie Lupin + Curse Eye)
- Dungeon: Another Path (Cold Eye)
- Dungeon: Drake’s Meal Table (DMT) (Cold Eye + Wild Cargo + Drake)
- Dungeon: Wild Cargo’s Area (Cold Eye + Wild Cargo)
Paper Lantern Ghost + Dark Cloud Fox
Lantern Ghost : 1920 Hp, 93 Exp, 95-135 Meso | Dark Cloud Fox : 2600 Hp, 110 Exp, 148-222 Meso
This ghost is only available in 1 map, which is Zipangu: A Night in the Forest. This map is special because once awhile Bamboo Warrior will be summoned here to catch botters (players who afk, but it automatically trains for them) To defeat this bamboo warrior, you need to hit the bamboo tree, only then, the status appears, and this indicate you can now KO bamboo warrior without being teleported to town. Great Exp for players Level 50 – 60.
Monster Level 41 – 50:
Block Golem, King Block Golem, Rombot:
Block Golem : 2400 Hp, 102 Exp, 123-190 Meso | King Block Golem : 2600 Hp, 110 Exp, 164-246 Meso
Both of these block robots can be found in Eos Tower in mobs. Popular among warrior and bandit. Provides good Exp (player Lv 45-60). Once awhile, they drop rare items that can be sold more than half a million meso (depending on free market). Bowman or assassin would find it difficult to train on them since they require minimum shooting space, but the tower is small and these monster size is huge.
- Ludibrium: Eos Tower 8th Floor (Block Golem + King Block Golem)
- Hidden Street: Hidden Tower (Block Golem + King Block Golem + Rombot
Skeledog : 2450 Hp, 107 Exp, ??? Meso | Mummydog : 2750 Exp, 117 Exp, 172-228 Meso
This undead can be affected by Cleric heal skill. However, magician MP Eater does not work on them since they do not have any MP to be siphoned. They are alternative monster to train on if other places are crowded (during weekend/holiday season).
- Perion Excavation Site : Remains Tomb I, II, III
Lorang, King Clang:
Lorang : 1950 Hp, 80 Exp, 92-128 Meso | King Clang : 3000 Hp, 128 Exp, 176-264 Exp
Crab monsters that lives nearby the seashore. Both are weak against lightning element attacks. Both provide good source of Exp (players Level 45-55) and meso. Lorang’s claw can be used for quest. Lorang drop common items such as Korean Fan (bandits like them) and King Clang drops Yellow Umbrella (Pure Int wizards love them). Both item can be sold for high price in free market. Training on them might cause you to spam pots for the cost of fast Exp.
- Hidden Street: Lorang Lorang Lorang (Lorang)
- Florina Road: Lorang and Clang (Lorang + King Clang)
- Hidden Street: Clang and Lorang (Lorang + King Clang)
Trucker : 3000 Hp, 160 Exp, 200-250 Meso
Truckers can only be found in Singapore: Suburban Area 2. They provide better Exp compare to most monster equivalent to its level. They appear in mobs, however, it causes players to spam lots of pots (bumping into them, hitting them multiple time) and its kinda crowded because many high level players trained there as well to farm meso. Trucker is popular among level 55-75 players.
Wraith, Master Chronos, Platoon Chronos:
Platoon Chronos : 2050 Hp, 99 Exp, 116-174 Meso | Master Chrono : 2600 Hp, 115 Exp, 258 Meso
Wraith : 2800 Hp, 120 Exp, 176-264 Meso
All of these 3 monsters are affected by Cleric Heal Skill. Cleric earn lots of meso from their drops, rare items and meso. (Good for farming meso). Esther Shield is highly price shield, and can be obtain from Platoon Chronos. Wraith drops Red Whip (popular among Warrior for additional speed) and Black bandana (Pure Int Mage loves this). Master Chrono drops tobi (expensive throwing star used by assassin).
- Ludibrium: Lost Time 1, 2 (Platoon + Master)
- Subway Line 2 Area 3 (Wraith)
- Subway Line 1 Area 4 (Jr Wraith + Wraith)
Straw Target Dummy, Jr Yeti
Straw Dummy : 3000 Hp, 135 Exp, 208-312 Meso | Jr Yeti : 3700 Hp, 135 Exp, 200-300 Meso
These are slow monsters, does not cause players to spam pots. Gives less Exp than Truckers. However, they appear in mobs within the map. Commonly found in Mu Lung maps. When Trucker map is crowded, these monster is the 2nd alternative to train on for level 55-60 players. Jr Yeti is similar to Straw, but are located in cold area nearby El Nath city, (weak against fire element attacks). Jr Yeti skins can be used for Orbis Exchange Quest. Both provide decent Exp and meso.
dyanmese8: Straw Target Dummy useable drop include: Scroll for Helmet for DEF (60%), Scroll for Shield for DEF (60%), Scroll for Crossbow for ATT (10%).
Mu Lung Practice Field Beginner is the best place for those lv 50-60 (if i no forgot) maplers who lazy walk up and down while training since it is a flat map. Drop rate of scroll for crossbow att and shield for def quite high at Practice Field Beginner. It’s easy to earn money at there too. Party with 1 more 2 maplers will be effective in training. You can use 100 straw doll exchange some marble with Mu Lung Mr Do (potion creater). Certain amount marble can exchange a 100% scroll for ATT.
- Mu Lung: Practice Field: Beginner
- Mu Lung: Practice Field: Easy Level
- Mu Lung: Practice Field: Normal Level
- El Nath: Watch Out for Icy Path I, II
Copper Drake, Drake
Monster Level 51 – 60:
Croco, Luster Pixie
Croco : 3800 Hp, 170 Exp, 224-336 Meso | Luster Pixie : 4000 Hp, 155 Exp, 224-336 Exp
Croco is a stronger ligator breed and its not weak against fire element attacks. Both of these monster gives decent meso and Exp (Lv 50-60 Players). Luster Pixie is much better to train since they drop better useable items (scrolls/mokbi throwing star/summoning rock) However, their magic attack is a pain for warrior, thief and bowman (weak magic defense). Magician can’t train on them efficiently since Luster Pixie has stronger magic defense against all elements. Its best to train on Luster if you could KO it without having them to cast any spells.
- Orbis: Cloud Park V, VI
- Warning Street: Dangerous Croco I
Cellion, Lioner, Grupin, Hector:
All Cats: 4200 Hp, 160 Exp, 235-348 Meso | Hector : 4600 Hp, 170 Exp, 256-384 Meso
Cellion and Lioner is weak against Ice element attack, so Ice/lightning wizard could train on them efficiently. They provide decent meso and Exp (Level 60-70 players). Maplers should 2 hit KO them before they could use their magic attack (very effective on Bowman, Warrior, Thief). These cat live appears on Orbis platforms, so you might need to go through some trouble climbing up the ladders. Hector is similar to cats (have magic attack) but their tail can be used for Orbis Exchange Quest (2nd Meso/Exp income).
- Orbis: Garden of Red II (Cellion)
- Orbis: Garden of Yellow II (Lioner)
- Orbis: Garden of Green II (Grupin)
- Orbis: Stairway to the Sky I
