MapleStory Infighter/Brawler Skills + Skill Build

Title: MapleStory 2nd Job Pirate – Infighter Skills, Infighter Skill Build (Skill Allocation) with Explanation!

Requirement: Level 30
Head back over to Nautilus Port and talk to Kyrin. She’ll give you two options; One for Infighter and one for Gunslinger. Choose “Infighter” and then talk to Kyrin again. Click the very bottom option. She’ll warp you to a map with small Octopi that you must kill. Here’s the catch: You must use Straight to kill them. Moon Kick will only “MISS” them. Once you’ve collected all 15 items from those octopi, talk to Kyrin again. She’ll warp you back to Nautilus Port (inside her room, of course). Talk to her once again and she’ll advance you to Infighter.

This page consists of 3 parts : infighter pirate skill build (2nd Job), skill description and pictures. Below are 1 type of common skill build. Saving SP means don’t use them. How to read the skill build? Here is an example: 31 – 36 means level 31 32 33 34 35 and 36. (level 31 to level 36). 30 – 30 basically means just level 30. The guide below is purely a personal recommendation and need not be followed.

Pearl of Knowledge
Brawler (aka Infighter) is known for its DragonBall techniques since at 3rd and 4th job advancement, they can transform/morph into another new glowing character. Brawler uses Knuckles to fight, so they need to be really close to hit those monsters. Since they lack of avoidability compare to Bandit, they tend to waste more HP Potions.

Below is the hierarchy order of Pirate advancement: [Pirate Main Page]
Pirate -> Gunslinger -> Vaklyrie (Outlaw) -> Captain (Corsair)
Pirate -> Infighter (Brawler) -> Buccaneer (Marauder) -> Viper (Buccaneer)

Notice: Skill Name Modification (GMS)
Back Elbow – Backspin Blow
Double Upper – Double Uppercut
Screw Punch – Corkscrew Blow

Backspin Blow 20 [MAX] / Double Uppercut 20 [MAX] / Corkscrew Punch 20 [MAX]
Reasons for this build:
(Quote from ShiKage) Here are the reasons for this build! Add SP into HP increase first. You want to have the most HP as possible, so you max out HP Increase as early as possible. Next, you want to get Mastery to help out your damage per minute. Also, when maxing out Mastery, you want to get one in Screw Punch and one in Back Elbow for building mobs and stunning. All of you people who have played a 4th job Warrior with Rush know how much Rush can speed up your training. Also, while maxing Mastery, you want to put six points into booster to further increase your attacking speed, thus increasing your training speed. Then, after you’ve maxed out Mastery, you want to work on your attacking skills, so your training will be further sped up. Once you have maxed your attacking skills, you want to finish maxing Booster or start working on MP Recovery. MP recovery is great, because it saves money on MP potions. Who doesn’t want an extra bit of cash in their pockets? Once you have maxed the above skills, you have one point left over, so stick that into Oak Barrel!

As of the big bang patch, CSB is going to be hitting 6 mobs instead of 3…making it way more useful. It’s already handy for invincibility purposes; csb, ssk, csb, ssk, ad infinitum…barely ever get hit that way, especially with booster active.

I agree. From level 30 – 40 you deal low damage to Trojans and robots. It frustrated me that I was so useless in my party.

This is a pretty good guide, the only annoying part of a Brawler is in the beginning where you can barely kill a thing in CPQ.

    Philllip ADLER :

I would put 16 on booster since that is the fastest it gets, 19 on mastery because thats the best it gets, 10 on mp recovery, 20 on crescrew, 20 on uppercut, 6 on the barrel thing, and max everything else. Also i would put ur dex on lower levels( you will come out stronger at higher levels) like my lvl 51 brawler has 140 accury and he is almost as strong as one wiith 70 and lower accuracy. i will be able to put almost all strenght to lvl 120+ and ill become way more powerful
u bich people max crescrew because u can charge up when waiting for mobs, and because alot of times there is not a mob of 6 , and sumersalt kick is sort of wasteful against less than 4 monsters. And if u cant afford mana ur going to suck anyway because how bad ur equips are . :D Lol

um about ur biuld not wat you said to “csb sucks” which is true because his math is wrong ssk does 1140% to 6 mobs vs csb 1260% to 3 and its dame rapidly decreases to less then 1k% if you have less then 5 mobs… but any way lvl 1 booster is as fast as it get for brawler and you have to max this skill if you want speed infusion in the 4th job +2 att speed for party :D

Well Mando , Dex = level if your a brawler or a.k.a infighter and str = level if your gunslinger.

  12. csb sucks
    27/12/2009 at 2:01 am | #12

To me the most useless skill is csb cause it takea a long time to charge, deals very little damage even when maxed then ssk cause ssk can hit alot more times. Calculations=
    CSB (420% to 3 monsters total 1260%)
SSK (190& to 6 monsters and can be done more than once compared to csb total of at least 2280% almost twice as much)
Another reason: CSB takes too much mana (36) at max while ssk only takes up (32)
TWICE the damage for less mana!
why do ppl max csb? pls giv me reasons to understand.
i will max all others until valid reasons are given with explanations.
Oh and if u guys are gonna say invincibility with csb, the duration does not lengthen with each level.
