Useful Link: MapleStory Ultimate EXP Guide: 8 Tips on Leveling Up Quickly | Pirate Main Page

Pearl of Knowledge
Switch monster as soon as possible once you are strong enough! Remember that you can join Party Quest (PQ) for fast EXP and nice rewards too! Below is a list of monster with the recommended maps (best exp/spawn rate). The list below is a mix of meso vs EXP. Some monsters give more valuable drops/meso or these monsters do not cost you to spam your potions/pot but gives less EXP in return and vice versa. (Note: aka refers to “also known as”)

Pirate 1st Job Training Locations
[MESO] – Great for earning Meso | [EQUIP] – Hunt Valuable Item | [POT] – Monsters often drop Potions

Level 1-10
GMS: Maple Island: Just kill all the monsters and finish quests if you feel like it for the extra EXP, not like you are doing anything.
KMS: Maple Island: Finish every single quest available. Not only will it bring you up to level 10 in about 15 minutes, but you will get tons of potions as well.

Level 10-15
GMS: Victoria Island: Just go to either Tree that Grew 1 or Slime Tree, great EXP.
KMS: Victoria Island: Just go to either Tree that Grew 1 or Slime Tree, great EXP. You could also try Floating Market, but that place is crap after 14.

Level 15-20
GMS: Victoria Island: Yup still here. Continue grinding on Slimes till 18 or 19. Orange Mushrooms are bad because your damage is all over the place, so Slimes are the next best thing. Just go to Orange Mushrooms around level 18/19 then level till 20 there.
KMS: Victoria Island/Ariant: Same with GMS, except you could go to Ariant if you followed the Accuracy build and train on the Sand Rabbits if you have money to drain.

Level 20-25
GMS: Victoria Island: Now you’re high enough to go to Green/Horny mushrooms. Just pick a tree in the “Forest South of Ellinia”. Good EXP, you should also try making a party. This would speed things up.
KMS: Ariant: You can to Sand Bunnies if you weren’t following the Accuracy build now. Your accuracy is perfect to hit them 100% of the time, and you should be hitting 150′s to 260′s each Straight.
For Accuracy builder’s, go to Meekrats, the ones that look like Timone from the Lion King.

Level 25-30
GMS: Victoria Island: Go to Sleepywood and start fighting at Ant Tunnel. Your Accuracy should be perfect to hit the monsters at least 90% of the time, so the EXP is great, especially with Somersault Kick mobbing.
KMS: Ariant/Victoria Island: Accuracy and other builds can move to Cactus’ now, especially daddies. The spawns are great so Somersault Kick is really helpful here as well. Otherwise, go to Ant Tunnel.

Tips for being unfunded Pirate? (Source)

According to pilowman (SleepyWood Forumer), Train at turkies from 21-30. Seriously, great money,no pot use(They cover all the pots,AND EXTRA,you get to keep the gravy&Cranberry sauce to sell to the mages later on.)
You will be using only the stuffing and a little bit of the mashed potatoes, besides, each turky drops 50-60 meso(Stacks up easilly) Great spawn 2 maps east of henesys towards ellinia.
That’s what I’m doing right now,and with a little help from friends i could afford to get my level 25 shit ;D(Approx 70k) I got 80 cranberry sauces right now(4 hours),I hope i could sell them to mages later on for 3-4k :P

Pig Mini Dungeon
Rainforest east of hensys. The room with all of the pigs and rion pigs hiding behind bushes. The entrance is on the upper floor where you’d normally go to get around the pigs. Big glowy thing. Hard to miss.

For lvl 30-35, for both pirates, put in helmet pepes. Thy are in the theme dungeon af ter the barrier, but, are well worth the prequests to go there. They have 850 hp, and give 71 exp, which has a bettter exp/hp ratio than cube slimes, pink teddies, and lots of other monsters you put up. They also have a good chance of dropping lvl 30 bullets, as i found out training there with my aran.

For my funded slinger, I went to Iron Mutae at level 35, But I was funded. I also did it on my mage. 2X for 4 hours is also useful, but buy only when you are in your training spot.
