Title: MapleStory 1st Job Warrior – Warrior Skills, Warrior Skill Build (Skill Allocation) with Explanation!

Click here to view MapleStory Big Bang Warrior Skills

The guide below is before MapleStory Big Bang Patch!

Requirement: Level 10, with 35 STR
Go to the Shrine of Warriors which is located at the highest point of Perion. Talk to “Dances with Balrog” and he’ll advance you as a Warrior if you have the requirement stats.

How to read this skill build? 16 – 18 means Level 16, 17 and 18 [Level 16 to 18]. For 20 – 20, it means only Level 20. The guide below is purely a personal recommendation and need not be followed. Each skill listed below has advices/tips shared by senior players to guide you in building your character!

Pearl of Knowledge:
The uniqueness of Warrior compare to the rest of other classes is they have the highest HP with fast HP Recovery. But HP Recovery only works when you are standing still. Their equipment and weapon requires STR (Strength) to equip. Therefore, they can be Pure STR Warriors if they have sufficient accuracy provided from their decent scrolled equipments!

Below is the hierarchy order of Pirate advancement: [Warrior Main Page]
Pirate -> Gunslinger -> Vaklyrie (Outlaw) -> Captain (Corsair)
Pirate -> Infighter (Brawler) -> Buccaneer (Marauder) -> Viper (Buccaneer)

Warrior Skill Build for 1st Job Advancement

Add enough SP (Skill Points) into Improving HP Recovery to activate Improving Max HP Increase. Max HP Increase is required to max early to gain more HP as you level up! Once that is accomplished, Power Strike is pumped to have your core attacking skill ready. Slash Blast is added to gain some mobbing skill (attacks a few monsters but weaker than Power Strike). Once both of these core skills are max, the remaining SP can be added into Improving HP Recovery. Iron Body is optional, but its not preferred to be added since it gives very little armour and it does not reduce much damage when you receive damage from high level monsters. Endure is not so useful since you can stand at a platform to gain even faster HP Recovery.
Summary – Total 61 SP

improving-hp-recoveryImproving HP Recovery (more info)
Recover additional HP every 10 sec while standing still. However, it does not work while you are moving around (in training). This skill does not work while hanging on rope unless you have added at least 1 SP (skill point) into Endure (1st Job warrior skill). Hp Recovery is very useful when you AFK (away from keyboard) in dangerous area such as El Nath (cold area) and Aquarium (anti-oxygen area) that reduces Hp every few seconds (approximately -20 Hp every 10 seconds).

Magician and Bowman would have hard time in those area. There are quest that rewards special cape that protects you (be immune to these harsh environment). Also, there are potion (Red Bean Porridge and Air Bubble) to temporary prevent decrease of Hp. Hp Recovery effects double if you are in Spa (Sleepywood Spa or Zipangu Spa)
.

improving-max-hp-increaseImproving Max HP Increase (more info)
This skill boosts up the amount of increase on MaxHP after each Level UP, or AP used on MaxHP. This is the most important skill that make warriors like a tank! Each time the warrior level up, he gains additional Hp into his Max Hp. The more Hp you have, the better chance you could withstand enemy damage that other class could not survive in 1 blow/hit from monster attack.
_
In short, most warrior build recommend to pump at least 5 Improving Hp Recovery first in order to enable/open-up/activate this skill and quickly pump this up. STR (strength) stats does not affect this skill. The more STR you have does not effect on how much Max Hp you gain. That would depend on the subclass (Fighter gains more Hp among other warriors, while Spearman gain the least).

.
Master Level: 10 | Type: Passive | Pre-requisite: Improving HP Recovery Lv. 5
Level 1: If Level UP, +4 more; if AP applied, +3 more on top on MaxHP

endureEndure (more info)
Even when hanging on the rope or ladder, you’ll be able to recover some HP after a certain amount of time. This is especially useful when you could not find any safe platform to AFK/rest in a harsh environment (El Nath – cold / Aquarium – anti-oxygen) and you are forced to hang on rope for the time being. Endure works along with Hp Recovery.

slash-blastSlash Blast (more info)
Use HP and MP to inflict damage to nearby monsters with any warrior weapon. (e.g. spear/sword). Slash Blast is weaker than Power Strike in single combat (1 target). However, its damage multiplies if it is applied on mob (many monster). Affects up to 6 monster close to your weapon. This skill will be the primary attacking skill for all warrior. Fighter and Page would use this skill from 2nd job to 3rd job. Spearman use this skill only in 2nd job since it will receive new primary attacking skill in 3rd job. This skill is recommended to be max! Slash Blast also works with Final Attack (2nd Job Skill). Slash Blast is most effective on a multiple target and when Power Strike deals too much damage for a monster Hp to handle. Great for power-leveling and farming meso on weaker mobs!

iron body is good on solo accounts it works best with RAGE!!!

but if u’re thinking on becoming a spearman, DK then iron body wouldn’t be as good, iron will much better since it increases ur party’s defense too. ^^

    i hope this helps ^^

Maxing “Improved MaxHP Increase” as soon as possible will make the most of your HP on your future levels.
